1/2B explored capacity in a practical way – taking our learning outside into the sunshine 🪣
In Y2, the children explored how we could split a range of shapes into even and uneven parts. We added labels to practice our maths vocabulary too! 🔢
Our Science investigation on push and pull forces (in sports) generated the question: How much force will make a ball travel the furthest? 🎾⚽️
In our outdoor maths session, we looked for arrays in our new KS1 outdoor learning area. Arrays help us to do repeated addition in our maths learning. We thought about how we make and use arrays. Children carefully constructed outdoor objects to make rows and columns, enabling them to skip count items quickly.
