Our immersive Shabbat afternoon in 1/2B 🍽
To understand Jewish Celebrations, 1/2B respectfully found out about the special meal called Shabbat. We had an alternative, immersive version with bread and cordial (instead of red wine) 🍽
1/2B go outdoors for athletics 🏃
Today 1/2B practised using our arms properly to help with our speed and control while running . We started with warm ups, then took our speed from a jog to a sprint 🏃
Outdoor maths – investigating fractions in Y2 🔢
In Y2, the children explored how we could split a range of shapes into even and uneven parts. We added labels to practice our maths vocabulary too! 🔢
1/2B practise ball control ⚽️
As part of our ‘sending and receiving’ PE lesson, we controlled the bounce of the ball and used this for passing to a partner.

Spotting wild plants in 2WB 🍀
We went on a hunt around school to identify wild plants.
2WB get active for PE ☃️🏃♂️
Today’s PE lesson was focused around ball skills, but the weather had other ideas. Children watched a video, focused on practicing skills with a tennis ball. 1/2P’s Friday Fun Outdoor Learning
1/2P have been enjoying utilising the Ks1 outdoor area for learning. We have done lots of brilliant learning outside, all whilst having lots of fun!
