Practical maths – using arrays in 2WB 🔢
Today we built arrays to help us solve worded multiplication questions. We used our arrays to skip count in 2’s, 5’s, 10’s and 3’s. We also wrote our multiplication number sentences two ways to show that the numbers are commutative (can go in any order).

1/2P recognising coins
In 1/2P, we are starting to recognise coins and their value. We are incorporating our money knowledge with our addition and subtraction learning to work out monetary totals in word problems. Well done girls and boys, you did so well with your learning this week and we are so proud.
1/2P Careful Counting
Children in 1/2P have been using the outdoor learning area to take part in some fun away-from-the-desk Numeracy learning! Our outdoor area is being developed this year and we can’t wait to see the end product. We love going outside and being creative with our learning!
