As part of our science week activities, we started our day with a ‘Top Trumps’ morning maths challenge.
We looked at animal facts to deduct the oldest animal in each group, then the oldest for the whole class.
In the afternoon, we took part in an innovation challenge.
The children had to choose a goal for a Robo-bug design –
based on ‘Search and Rescue,’ ‘Exploration’ and ‘Construction’ ideas.
We thought about the challenges and skills involved,
the habitat in which it would be used and the features it would need.
Once their design was complete, time and resources were available to make 3D models.
