Mrs Oram is supporting positive play in KS1 and created some fabulous scavenger hunts on our playground. The children have loved them and can’t wait to start making their own.
Our F2 children have been inspired to write with the help of our nee addition to F2. Here they are celebrating his arrival.
Our F2 children are so excited about our baby Chicks, we have seen little holes today and heard chirping sounds, not long left now. We hope they arrive safely.
We are so proud of our Year3/4Children who are learning to play the drums. They have been working on rhythm and pulse and collectively produced some fabulous sounds.

Feeding the chickens is an absolute joy, although they did get somewhat excited when we opened the gate! Luckily, we had kind assistance from some of the older children and we were able to give them clean water and checked they had plenty of food.
Today our Teachers really enjoyed some Art CPD, focussing on drawing skills. We can’t wait to take this back into the classrooms. Thank you Martin Harvey.
Our Early Years children really enjoy visiting our school hall for their physical development. They have been learning how to roll, creep and crawl. Some wonderful gross motor skills were evident today.
Our children are so excited to see the changes that are happening daily to our LEAF centre – Leading Endeavours for Aspirational futures. We can’t wait to follow its journey and create a fabulous Nurture provision for the children of Rotherham.
Over the last few weeks we’ve been building our skills in Netball. We’ve focused on passing & moving, losing a defender, shooting and communication.
Today in our booster club we looked at addition. We used concrete objects to add 2 numbers together. We are becoming much more confident with it now.
Today 6B has tried a wide range of fruit, taking notice of the tastes, textures and combinations of flavours. The children have enjoyed riding their scooters and bikes to school as part of the big pedal!

Today, 5P made the short trip to our Leaf Centre. We discussed the building, its purpose when built, and how it is going to support lots of young children for many years to come.

We combined our geography, computing and oracy skills this afternoon to compare the locations the vikings came from to the UK. Children were involved in the project of creating a weather report using the green screen and I movie to show their final outcomes.
