Our Early Years children really enjoyed visiting our LEAF Centre site. They were asking lots of questions and listened really carefully. They are really excited to watch our amazing new site develop.
Today our children collected their first egg from our Hens. The children have enjoyed looking after them and learning all about caring for battery chickens. So proud of you all.
Our children in KS2 have enjoyed a series of environmental challenges and a carrousel of activities in developing the grounds. We can’t wait to follow their journey throughout the term.

Around school we have our RP Reps up and proud. They have done a wonderful job completing their qualification and learnt so much about the importance of their role. We can’t wait to see them out on the playground after Easter.
Today our Year 6 children enjoyed their meeting with Los Albares to discuss our NEMESIS projects and shared our experiences of lockdown. Both children enjoyed finding out the similarities and differences between the two counties. We can’t wait for our next meeting.

In Ks1 this week the children have created their own Robo bugs which have a series of special functions. The children really enjoyed the planning, creating and evaluating the process. Well done Y1/2P I can’t wait to see them around school. I know Mrs Slack loved making hers.

This week 1S have been out in the grounds to plant some new trees! We cannot wait to see them blossom as we go through school.

Our Year 2 Children wanted to share how they have sent their learning all the way to China to learn with their friends in Chengdu. After the holiday the children at Tanghu Elementary school are going to be sharing some traditional Chinese fairytales with us. We are really looking forward to this.
