This week the children enjoyed making fajitas in Cooking Club. Lots of new skills this week. They looked and smelt delicious, I hope you can now all recreate these at home.

Today we have been learning about Carnivores, herbivores and omnivores and what types of foods that they eat , we completed a venn diagram to show the animal groups and then Created a food plate to show what foods each group would eat .
We had lots for fun making bath bombs this week in science club. We thought about the chemical reaction made when putting baths bombs in water. Next week we will test them out in water.
Mrs Bradbury and Mrs Foster taught the children how to make spaghetti bolognese today and they enjoyed every second. They are developing skills week on week and we are so proud of them. It looked delicious.

We were really lucky this afternoon as we got to have a look at our topic books. This is a special book where we put all our learning that we try so hard with. We were feeling very proud when we were looking back on what we have done so far.
What a wonderful celebration of learning, we really do have the most amazing children on the planet.
We love spending our social time together especially in our reading but and practicing our tables on our new boards.
Miss Lilleyman was telling us that it can be good for your wellbeing to hug a tree, so we decided to give it a go 🌳 It certainly made us smile 😃

Mrs Foster and Mrs Bradbury were off to a flying start at cooking club tonight. The children have made decisions on what they would like to make over the next 5 weeks. Look how happy they are.

We have been thinking about repeating patterns in maths today so we decided to make some healthy fruit kebab patterns and then enjoy eating our hard work.

This week F1 had a special visit from Wendy from the Early Years Outreach team. She talked to us about healthy eating and we took part in a workout. The children were brilliant at talking about the foods they like to eat.
This week we will be thinking about animal families, our families, our class family and our school family. Our class story this week is Monkey Puzzle so our classroom has changed for us to do our new learning. 🐒 We have some beautiful jungle flowers added to our jungle this morning 🌄
We have a wide range of opportunities on offer for our Children this term. What a wonderful time our children have had in their first session.
Today in science club the children have made their own play dough. The children thought about the different materials such as flour, oil, food colouring and water and how they change state when mixed together.We had fun making different shapes and changing the colour of our dough by adding more food colouring.
This week our classroom has been buzzing with excitement. Our children love learning and using their environment to gain new knowledge.
