Today we celebrated children who have shown resilience beyond believe this year and overcoming barriers to learning to make sure they succeed. Continuing to learn even when bubbles have closed and school had closed embracing every second of 2020. We are proud of you all.
Y3/4P have collected donations from our community to help support the homeless within South Yorkshire. Our donations included winter clothing, games, toiletries, books and food. Thank you to everyone for your contributions and well done to Y3/4P for creating a brighter tomorrow.
Our KS1 children have produced a fabulous production of the Nativity. Thank you to all the children and staff for putting together a wonderful performance. Parents I hope you enjoyed our zoom call this morning to showcase our very special performance. We can’t wait to have you all back in school next December.
We have been working alongside Reverend Lyn Wortley at St Mary’s Church to create a Nativity Scene at the church. Our Year 6 children have loved painting pebbles which will be based at the Church around the Crib. Thank you for always thinking of us.
Our children made their own Christingles, they showed great fine motor skills to put the sweets on the cocktail sticks. They really enjoyed singing and dancing to ‘This Little Light of Mine’!
Thank you so much to Revered Lyn Wortley for supporting us with out Christingle Service this year we can’t wait to see the Church Service and share this with our families. The children performed beautifully and worked so hard to share their learning.

Today 6B have had some interesting discussions around Covid 19 and have organised statements on the agree-disagree line. We have had to agreed disagreeably with each and used various talk techniques to get our points of view heard, such as thumbs in, palms up and talk token.
Y3/4P have had their first Co-Creation lab with Safe at Last and some of our fabulous parents. The class had spokesmen and spokeswomen who delivered a fabulous presentation sharing their ideas with the group. Today we had so much to celebrate. We have some fantastic Science models in 3M of some steel men linked to their class text. 4/5D have some fabulous seasonal science learning and 1S showcased their new outdoor learning area. Well done to all our Shield and Golden Leaf winners this week.

Our Children in Early years have really enjoyed reading the Fall and completed some drama activities. They discussed the text and explained their ideas.

Our Foundation 2 children have been creating some beautiful acts of kindness whilst learning at home. They have worked really hard to create some fabulous learning through Art. Well done everyone.
On Friday the children wore their pyjamas to school to celebrate children in need! They had so much fun and enjoyed decorating their own pudsey bears! Today the children have worn odd socks to kick start our friendship/anti-bullying week and they thought it was so funny wearing odd socks!
