Mr Purshouse is leading the way with Restorative Practice. The children are now in the new Restorative Practice hut looking at training into action. Focusing on different scenarios and how to resolve conflict.
Mr and Mrs Elliott have brought Prescott and Phoenix in to visit today. The children are learning all about baby Goats. They are one week old today.

Y6B have enjoyed visiting our Hens this week, the children have loved checking the nest box for eggs and supporting with the cleaning and caring of our battery chickens. The children have been learning about the life cycle and care of animals. We can’t wait to have the goats in next week.
After cutting the sod our journey in developing our very own Nurture Provision hits the Advertiser. The children are really enjoying being involved in our Nemesis project and making a difference to the local community. Thank you Mrs Elliott for taking the time to bring copies in for our children, what a special keep sake.

Our Early Years Children are out exploring again. This time they have been to see if our Hens have laid any eggs. The children have learnt so much about Chicken’s and this links really well to their learning in Science.

Our children in KS2 have enjoyed a series of environmental challenges and a carrousel of activities in developing the grounds. We can’t wait to follow their journey throughout the term.

Around school we have our RP Reps up and proud. They have done a wonderful job completing their qualification and learnt so much about the importance of their role. We can’t wait to see them out on the playground after Easter.

This week we have been looking at the Census taking place this week. We looked at how helpful they are and what data they generate every ten years. The children then developed their own questions to investigate and carry out a census.
