First training session for our new Librarians

We have had a really productive training session this morning, getting our new library ready for the rest of the school. Our first task: can we order our new loan library books into alphabetical order. We have been tasked with creating date labels for every book ready for next weeks training session.

Tag Team Maths Y6

Today our Year 6s played tag team multiplication in the hall. A difficult challenge of teamwork, skill and resilience. The children were encouraged to self check their learning. Well done Year 6 and thank you Miss Tyzack for planning an incredible numeracy lesson.

Stars of the Week

So far this week we have seen some wonderful literacy from our children, we have Eila and Loui with descriptive writing and our Year 1 children who have produced some excellent storyboards all linked to their topic around Shrek.

Greentop Circus arrived #10datc

A huge thank you to SCC Active Travel for organising the Green Top Circus to come and support our Active Travel. The children had an incredible morning we had over 70 parents join in for our walk to school and our children thoroughly enjoyed the assembly. Rockingham loves to be active.

Y2KS Art inspired by Paul Klee.

Paul Klee:18 December 1879 – 29 June 1940) was a Swiss-born artist. His highly individual style was influenced by movements in art that included Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism. 2KS have been studying the artist particularly looking at his painting of a Castle which links directly to their topic.
