This morning we were working in small teams to develop our reasoning skills, the children really enjoyed challenge each other. Well done Y6.
This morning our Foundation 2 children held a wonderful stay and play session for their families, they worked as a team and developed their knowledge and understanding of what a Christingle represents.
This morning we were given the lovely opportunity of hosting a Christmas Craft Family Learning session this morning. Thank you to our parents who attended and to Trish Sharp and the CLC for providing this amazing opportunity, we have loved it.

Today we are performing Carols at Rotherham Minster organised by Rotherham Music Service. We are so excited to share our beautiful singing with our parents.

Just a reminder about Greasbrough Christmas Tree Lights Switch on. There will be Carol Singing and a Christmas Market in the Crown Pub car park from 4pm. The lights will be switched on at 6:45pm by a child from Rockingham and Greasbrough, We hope to see you all there.

Our Year 2 children have been busy making bird feeders that will be hung outside by Mr Clark. The children really enjoyed getting their hands dirty and were fully engaged in their learning. They are going to create a bird hide where they can take the binoculars out to observe the birds.

Our Enterprise team have done an incredible job of organising our Monster Mash event. We couldn’t believe how many children attended, we had planned some exciting games and had lots of fun we hope you all enjoyed it too.

We were so excited to launch our new Paddington suitcases that our children are taking home, inside you will find a Book, Teddy bear, Hot chocolate and some biscuits to share as a family. We really hope you enjoy sharing the stories together and generate that love of reading.

This morning Mrs Foxley-Johnson came to visit to discuss our emotions. We thought about how we feel when different things happen. We had some fantastic ideas and cannot wait to create our own emojis to show our feelings.
Today we did a workshop all about respect. We considered how to be respectful to each other and the impact of this.
This week we have made angels to be displayed in Church. We had lots of fun and can’t wait to see them on display when we visit next week.
