A huge thank you to Mr and Mrs Tunks for building and organising our planters ready for September. We are really excited to get planting.
Our Year 6 children enjoyed spending the afternoon preparing the grounds for our new addition in the summer. They found so many frogs and managed to rescue them safely whilst having a wonderful science lesson with Miss Tunks.
Our F2 children have been inspired by the ducklings so much so they have completed some amazing artwork. Well done everyone, what a fabulous day!
It doesn’t get any more Magical than this, our F1 children and staff held a Mad Hatters Tea Party this week. All the children wrote invites, made posters, party hats and decorations. It looks like it was a huge success. Congratulations to all the staff, children and parents.

Our Year 6s have started to get creative and decorate our pond area with beautiful flowers. Making bonds and connections before they fly the nest and move on to their comprehensive schools. Watch this space for our raised beds and Chickens.
Exploring the human bone structure through art. The children have created some amazing pencil sketches using tone.
Y6s have been designing and drawing their own ‘Chalk Walks’ to make the playground more interactive whilst we all have to socially distance. We have started on the junior playground but the children will be completing more on the infant yard tomorrow.

Here are our Year 6 children learning about the Heart through music.
Our Year 6 are learning all about the Heart and how it works using numeracy and science to explain how it pumps blood around the body using art as a vehicle for learning.
Our Year 1 children have been busy making colour monster puppets this week, how fabulous do they look? The children have worked really hard to develop a range of skills over the week to develop their fine motor skills. All children have planned and evaluated their models.
Mrs Tunks delivers our amazing family learning packs from the CLC, a huge thank you to Trish and the team. We can’t wait to show you our creations. Thank you Mrs Tunks for bringing the smiles to everyone’s faces.
Josie spent a lot of time in Lockdown creating this amazing Anderson shelter. It has wonderful detail up close, along with circuits to run its own lighting system thinking about her science knowledge last term. She shared this with her Incredibubbles group who were equally wowed by it. Well done
Welcome back Year 6 to a wonderful final term. Miss Tyzack has planned some great outdoor maths lessons and here’s just the start. Well done Y6 for being so sensible and considerate of others we’ve missed you.
Today our EYFS children made some beautiful butterfly wings and were busy fluttering around the outdoor area. They explored patterns and symmetry and used a range of materials to create their design.
