Today was a huge success at Rockingham taking part in Odd Socks Day, sharing how diverse we all are. This linked extremely well with our Anti Bullying learning and we loved flashing our socks on the playground. Mrs Baum stole the day with her Toy Story Socks!

Today was a very wet and rainy day, we decided to start a board games club in the hall with lots of old fashioned games. Children have taught each other how to play chess, drafts, beetle drive and snakes and ladders. The children had a wonderful time working in mixed classes and mixed year groups. […]
Over the past two weeks we have been talking to the children about their future aspirations and what they would like to do in the future. They have created some beautiful learning to share with you. We have a range of things from a fairy, princess to a surgeon.
Today the children read out their school council manifestos and the children voted for their favourite. We talked about democracy being one of the British values and what that meant.
Well done to all the children in 5/6H for wanting to take on the responsibility of being a school councillor. We had some great manifestos and it was a really hard choice to select people. Congratulations to our winners and we hope you help to make good decisions!
