Beebots!

Outdoor Maths in 1/2WH

We became human beebots yesterday! We had to use directional language to ‘programme’ our friends to get from one place to another. It was certainly a little chilly but we enjoyed taking our learning outside. Please follow and like us:

Promoting ‘kind words’ in 1/2WH

Applying our counting skills.

Today we used the counting skills from last week to add 2 numbers together.            Some children added a 2 digit number to a single digit number using numicon. Max was great at counting in tens and ones! Please follow and like us:

Pirate Rafts!

The children reflected on their learning about Materials from the Spring Term to plan, design and make their raft. The raft needed to float and be big enough to hold a playmobil pirate. We will test the rafts and evaluate our designs later in the week. Please follow and like us:
