Here is our message from our youngest children in school, please stay safe.
Today our children in REY have been learning to count, they have looked at different types of houses they live in and used their story to identify how many people live in each house. Well done everyone you are able to recognise numbers and show numbers to 6.
Across our EYFS provision the environment has been fully transformed into Chinese New Year. They have rice in the sand tray. Noodles in the slow cooker and a Chinese restaurant. In our Early years we observed excellent communication skills, children were using their social skills to develop a conversation during snack time. We encourage our parents to take reading books home to share stories and develop a love of reading.
Our Foundation 1 children have been busy learning their initial letter sounds and enjoying feeding Metal Mike, they completed some wonderful learning and were able to identify all the sounds.

Our F1 children and 6B are having a wonderful morning singing Santa Shark we have loved watching them this morning. I think Mr Hanson and Mrs McDermott love this song too. Well done everyone. Children of all ages just love this performance.
Our children have been very lucky to have a visit from Father Christmas and each child in school received a book from his visit. We really hope you enjoy sharing your story over Christmas with your family.
