The children have really enjoyed making their Christmas fayre products this week for their families to buy! We made reindeer hot chocolates and reindeer dust! When scooping the mixture we counted how many scoops we put in the cone to make our hot chocolate reindeers! The children couldn’t wait to take them home!

In our outdoor maths session, we looked for arrays in our new KS1 outdoor learning area. Arrays help us to do repeated addition in our maths learning. We thought about how we make and use arrays. Children carefully constructed outdoor objects to make rows and columns, enabling them to skip count items quickly.
